Use Chainlens Blockchain Explorer to view NFTs on the Palm Network

Last week saw a significant milestone for Chainlens and the Palm Network. The Palm Network, is a leading blockchain network dedicated to selling, purchasing, and trading NFTs that are associated with real-world and digital assets.

Artists and brands using the Palm network include DC Comics, Major League Baseball and British artist Damian Hirst.

Earlier in the year, the Palm Network announced they were transitioning to being a Polygon application-specific blockchain or appchain. Palm had been launched as a stand-alone EVM network. The move to becoming an appchain was a sensible transition enabling Palm to ultimately become secured by the Ethereum mainnet.

Last week the Palm testnet transition happened successfully. It's now running using Polygon's Edge technology and will be transitioning to its zero-knowledge EVM in 2024.

This upgrade by Palm needed us to ensure that Chainlens worked with Polygon's appchain technology. This involved adding support for both Polygon Edge and their ZK-EVM technology.

Although both technologies support the EVM, there are subtle differences under the hood which meant that Chainlens wouldn't work without updates.

You can access the Palm testnet explorer at testnet.palm.chainlens.com and check out some of the awesome NFTs they have.

The DC comic covers are definitely stand out examples for us!

The Palm mainnet will be migrating to Polygon shortly. In the meantime, if you’d like to learn more about running Polygon Edge or ZK-EVM network, please get in touch. We have a number of infrastructure partners who can assist with the launch and Chainlens provides your users with the information they care about with respect to on-chain activity.
