Epirus Available on AWS Marketplace

Since launching the Epirus blockchain explorer on the Azure Marketplace earlier this year, many people have asked us if it would be made available on the AWS Marketplace. The wait is finally over! We’re pleased to announce that from today Epirus is available in the AWS Marketplace.

The Epirus blockchain explorer and smart contract registry is the go-to platform for both business and technical users for working with blockchain networks. It supports Hyperledger Besu, Quorum and other Ethereum based networks .

 
Epirus Enterprise Blockchain Explorer

To get started with Epirus on AWS, you can sign up to the offer here and launch an Epirus instance that has been optimised for AWS. You will need to have the details of an RPC connection for your node. For instructions on this, you can head to the Epirus for AWS documentation.

On AWS, Epirus provides authenticated access out of the box, when you set it up, your are prompted for a username and password to control access to the instance. This is taken care of via the epirus setup command.

Configuring Epirus instance

Please enter a username: <enter username>

New password: <enter password>

Re-type new password: <re-enterpassword>

Adding password for user <username>

Please enter node URL: http://<your-service-url>

Successfully connected to http://<your-service-url>

Configuration written to /usr/local/src/epirus/epirus.conf

However, if you wish to add additional credentials after the fact, you can use the new epirus passwd command.

$ sudo epirus passwd <new or existing username>
